DIY Beaded Hemp Crochet Bracelet Tutorial. I don’t crochet, but even I can crochet a simple chain stitch to make these pretty (and cheap) bracelets. Tutorial from Making Jewelry Now here.

DIY Polymer Clay Stamping and Image Transfer. First, Harbor Freight carries stamping kits super cheaply. Second, did you know that you can transfer any image from plain paper (laser or toner printer) to polymer clay? For my teacup collage I even used colored pencils to make the images more outrageous (and then gave them a curved look by draping and baking them over a paper towel tube). Tutorials from Saved by Love Creations: stamping tutorial here, image transfer tutorial here. *The image transfer method I like best is the dry transfer where you just put the image on polymer clay, burnish it a bit, leave it on for an hour and bake the image with the paper on it. More about that here.
DIY Sreampunk Inspiration: Steampunk Satchel and Wallets by batman-n-bananas at DeviantArt here. I already posted her Steampunk Portal Boots here, but was a little obsessed with these accessories. In the comments section she explained a little how she made these:
“the cog parts are from clocks, the pipe bit is a painted bendy straw, the basic leather wallets I already owned, everything is kinda assembled together from found parts…”
Craft Adhesives: The Basics | Lemon Jitters
Having a good kit of adhesives is not only great for crafting, but for everyday life too! On the weekend I needed a hot glue gun and mine was heating to about toast temperature and the only other glue I had was wood glue. Not great for attaching cabochons to clips. You may not need all of these adhesives, but read the article and work out which ones will be the best for your needs. E6000 is next on my list!

More pallet repurposing …
In this installation, pallets are used as tiered seating in a media room. The pallets’ open sides can be used as shelves for books, magazines, and other items. On the opposite wall, wall-mounted pallets set off a screen.
